Earlier you sent me some very interesting photographs from Korobov
archive, and it is a pity that some buildings are not captioned with
addresses. In Harbin there were several Korobov families, one of whom
was a doctor and a journalist. With apologies for late reply, the
inscription on the photograph of a monument of three girls ( - Chinese,
Japanese in the centre, and Korean? the monument was probably not in
Harbin, though I am not sure!) says on top, in four separate characters,
"Mante jiaoyu" or "Manchurian Railway Education," but the inscription on
the plaque below is hard to read and is in Japanese.
