The Grodno Historical Archive contains a request from Elya, the son of Yankel Gurin, 28 years old, to issue him a foreign passport in 1911. The document contains his handwritten signature.

В основном это фонд 1 описи 24 и 25.

About the document on familysearch, I've found it already and it's concerning Boruch son of Jankiel born in 1884. The Borukh I was talking about is the father of Jankiel who was born in 1835. Not the same person. It's confusing I know. Boruch, Borukh, Jankiel and Yankel !
About Jossel, I believe it's Yosef the oldest Boruch's brother born in 1882. I have already seen this spelling for the first name Yosef

If I get it correctly. These archives is a list of person name gurin who lived in Pinks in 1874, 1893, 1914 and 1906 ? I might be found something about Jankiel and his parents in 1874. In 1893, the family was probably in Brest then in 1906 Warsaw.

Iosif ? You Yosef? I don't think he had a child there because in 1904 he traveled into the USA and get married with Sofia Soboel in the same year. he got 3 childres in 1904, 1907 and 1910

Thanks for the military file about Shmul, I didn't have it !

Interesting but Moishe and Josef was already in the USA at this period and not minors too. So maybe cousins ? Maybe jewishgen have more information like census
