I am searching in Yandex for a confessional list between 1881 and 1885 Lefortovo district containing Grigory Nechaev living in Mikhail Morozov's house. It must exist, right?
[/q]

Churches in Moscow were organized according to the so-called ''soroks'' (it was mentioned before). There's no Lefortovo sorok.
Here's the Russian Wiki page on soroks. The list of them is in the table on the right.

Here's the Wiki page on Lefortovo. It mentions the churches there with their names and the map of Moscow with Lefortovo marked red.

As for the Morozov house, it's not possible to say where it was located in Lefortovo. You can search in yandex by this name 'äîì Ìîðîçîâà â äîìå Ìîðîçîâà. I don't remember if the docs mention if that Morozov was a peasant or a meschanin? So, you can try his name. And filter the search by the archives (ÖÃÀ Ìîñêâû).

he was a peasant. I tried searching for "peasant Mikhail Morozov" in Russian but it didn't return anything. I will try with the sentence you gave me

edit : There are some confessions for "äîì Ìîðîçîâà" but none of them contain the name of Grigory

thank you for this document. I'm not specifically looking for Ignaty Engel's ancestors but it's interesting.

I would like to know if it is possible to have a translation concerning a birth certificate taken in Poland written in Russian. It's a bit mixed with Polish so I can't recognize some words.
Date 1905, child Maryanna daughter of Tomasz and Ewa...

It is next to impossible to find a house that belonged to a regular person, not a renowned merchant or a noble family, unless you go for a very serious research in the Moscow archives offline. If only for a luck streak. It was quite common those days that houses had names of the owner instead of addresses.
As for the confession lists, since Grigory dwelled there temporarily, he's hardly gonna be in any of them. Plus, usually people confessed at the churches of their parish, not where they actually lived.

Occurred at the city of Novorodomsk (Nowo-Radomsk, now Radomsko) on March 6th (19th), 1905, at 3 p.m. There appeared Tomasz Blĕdniak, a peasant of 26 years of age, a resident of Strzałkowo, in presence of Anton Blĕdniak, of 30 years of age, and Wincenty Bronschewski, of 35 years of age, both being peasants and residents of Strzałkowo, and presented a female baby born as a twin in Strzałkowo yesterday at 9:30 a.m. to his legally wed wife Ewa nee Adamus, of 24 years of age. The baby baptized today by ksiądz Waclaw Jankowski was given the name of Maryanna, while the godparents were Jan Pawlikowski and Zofia Blĕdniak. This act has been read aloud to the announcers and witnesses due to that they are illiterate and signed by the rector. [signature] Kanonik Korycki

Hello, I am looking for a town named "Niakorvec" mentioned in 1944 in French. The spelling is probably different. This is the town where a French soldier died on June 22, 1944. The date could correspond to Operation “Bagration” which took place in Belarus. I think it's a city in present-day Belarus.
Does anyone have any info on this city?

Hello, I was rereading the family letters and finally I had a doubt about the translation of one of the letters.
Can someone translate this letter so I can verify the accuracy of the information?
