Натан и Ребекка Швабские из Бобринца, дети: Исаак, Самуэль, Алекс (Еллек), Сара, Анна и Рахель. Исаак записался сыном соседа Крупника, чтобы избежать призыва в армию. В 1905 г. эмигрировал в США, куда потом переселилась и вся семья.
Исаак Швабский родился 15 окт. 1882 г.
Его отец Натан в 1861, мать Бина (Ребекка, Бекіи - ок. 1863. Ее девичья фамилия була Гершов или Гершков, а ее родители были Якоб Гершов и Бесси Рабинович.
my grandfather Isaac Krupnick “borrowed” the name Krupnick from a neighboring family in Bobrynets, Ukraine who had lost a son in the army. My grandfather took the name so that he would not be conscripted for life in the Russian Army. The rule said if a family lost a son, they would not conscript any others. He then emigrated to the U.S. in 1905, worked for 2 years and then sent for his parents and siblings. My great grandparents were Nathan (Natan) and Binah (Bina, Rebecca) Schwabsky, and Isaac’s siblings were Samuel, Alex (Elleck), Sarah, Anna and Ruchel (Rachel). I would be really appreciative if you could find any references to Nathan and Binah’s siblings and parents. I’ve hit a wall in that area.
My grandfather Isaac Schwabski was born 10/15/1882. His father Nathan was born in 1861. His mother Binah (Bina, Rebecca, Becky, Biena) was born around 1863. Her maiden name. I think, was Gershoff or possibly Gershkoff, and her parents were Jacob Gershoff and Bessie Rabinowitz.
