This is the same Jacobini as the later Cardinal Jacobini,
who challenged the election of Adolph Martynoff (by Mossolow and Oubril),
to Bishop of Wilna!
--------------------
Someone in Russia believes that the Maltese Order didn't exist (in Russia) at that time, and that Adolph Martynoff must have been a member of the Maltese Order
through a different Archdiocese!
Especially since they listed him in Dorpat, as member of the Order!
?????
Maybe some of you could confirm or dismiss this!
Thank you!!!!
