I have read every single post I said I'm really thankful for finding all the informations. Without all of you I wouldn't know anything! I've been reading the polish document regarding marriage. I see the names of parents of Adolf (shocked) however its written that the surnames are unknown :p without your help I wouldn't know. But now I do All these scans are so precious!

Yes these are their graves. There are more children of Adolf burried there. There are two daughters who are still alive, but we don't have contact with them at the moment. I'm really happy because for years I wanted to know if he really was from Riga. Was he Latvian or Russian? And my name is Доминика and mother's name is Джоанна.

Lips and nose is almost like ours :p
This is my grandfather son of Adolf. His name was Adolf too
Sadly I have no pictures of my great grandfather :(

Birth date on his grave is 01.01.1907. Day and month were unknown. I believie it could be 17.12.1906! :O We didn't know the names of his parents! So is it Joseph Shluns and Antonina nee Tarasevich? So Adolf and Elena were not related? :o

He was married to Stanisława. My mother says he was a shoe maker. He claimed he was born in Riga. He got lost in some train (I don't know the details). He was a Catholic.

I haveaccidentally found this forum. But it's all in Russian and I don't speak this language.... So I took my time to translate it. You mention surname Shluns/Szłuns/Szluns. I'm a bearer of surname Szłuns and my great grandfather Adolf was from Riga. is it possible that I am related with any of you?
