I am looking for information on my Grandfather's Family from Sakovichi, Grodno, Belarus - Near Slonim.

Attended Primary School in Sakowice 1929 – 1934
1934 – 1944 Worked as a farmworker “at home” in Sakowice
Deported to Germany in 1944

Immigrated to Australia 1949 – Departed from Naples, Italy on General Blatchford

Pawel said Aleks was accused of blowing up a railway and taken by the Germans and he didn’t know what happened to him.
? maybe a member of The Partisans?

Served in WWI. Died of complications from something related to the war after the kids were born.
? Maybe exposure to chemical weapons?

We think Pawel mentioned returning home after the war and mum wasn’t there.
Pawel also mentioned that his hometown/village was flattened to the ground after the war which suggests he may have actually gone home to find mum.
I would be grateful if anyone could help me locate any information on my family. It's very difficult with the languages and also living in Australia.
