I can only assume my great-grandfather was Catholic since my grandfather was baptized and raised Catholic. My great-grandparents married in the US and she was born in Krakow.

The only other knowledge I have of my great-grandfather is that he was well educated and spoke 7 languages. Was that normal in this area in that time?

Rubezhevichi not far from there. Not sure but i think the biggest catholic church was in Kajadanovo/ Koidanovo. Nowadays https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzyarzhynsk

Familysearch has a lot church records from Belarus. May you'll able to find some information there/

Not sure. May be he had some nobility roots.

This person is looking for Voitkevich from Volozhyn. 70 km from Rubezhevichi/

I think gentry. My mother remembers being told he was a "nobleman" by her eldest aunt. I don't know what was meant by that.
