Thank you for the information,
I have heard about this (Martinoff-Martynov) Family
but I am not sure if my Family has any connections with it.
Most of the Family you mentioned lived in the Penza, Kiev or Moskau districts ---- but my Family lived in Latvia.
with some connection to St. Petersburg.
The strange thing is, that the Crest/Blason of the Family you are talking about has the three Baltic Stars in it.
But none of them lived in the Baltics.
I have no answer to this question.
All I know is, that there was a seperation between my Family and the Russian Nobility, and that Friedrich Johann Martinoff 1811-1912 was angry at the Russian Nobility.
WHY - I am still trying to find the answer.

made the dolls for Prince Alexei Romanov's birthday.
The same birthday the farmers from the Wolga region
made Alexei a full hand made village.
It supposedly was placed on large tables.
She received from his mother Alexandra a thank you letter and a piece of jewlery, which were lost during
WW1. Maybe there is a picture of the village and the dolls.
Does somebody know the year??????? Elfie also played with Alexei on the Imperial Families Ship, while they visited Riga for the celebration of the
"Peter the Great" Statue.

He was Engineer at an "Arms Manufacturing Plant"
in Kolpino.
(Does anybody know the name of this facility/manufacturer)
Somwhere between 1900 -1910 - I am not sure.
He "supposedly" was often a guest by the Russian Imperial Court in St. Petersburg.
What could be the meaning of the Emblem on his "hat" .
(If it has any meaning)
I can't see it, but maybe one of you might be able to help me.
