If I understand correctly, we have the couple Mikhail Vasiliev Nechaev (1786?) and Stepanida Vasilievna Tikhomirova (1790?) who married on March 29, 1810 in Moscow and had 6 children: Ivan (?), Anna (?), Vasily (1818?), Konstantin (1827), Stepan (1829) and Grigory (1831)
Mikhail Vasiliev Nechaev is the son of Vasily X Nechaev and Anna Alekseeva (the widow sergeant)?
Stepanida Vasilievna Tikhomirov is the daughter of Vasily X Tikhomirov and undefined mother
The Nechaev family was a family of master printer at Moscow University so probably all born in Moscow
The only thing that puzzles me is the age of the parents and children according to the confession book found by OlgaKob in 1828. If Mikhail and Stepanida were respectively 36 and 30 years old in 1828, then in 1810 when they married they had 18 and 12 years old
I have a little question about Ivan and Anne Nechaev. They are present in the confession book in 1828 but not in the census 1834-1850. Are they dead or did they just leave the house ? | | Лайк (1) |

Ivan had probably moved out. Anna had probably married away. The censuses in Russia didn't record genealogical relations, but households, i.e. if someone moved out they were listed in a different household. Women in the 19th century censuses were only presented as of now, without reference to the previous census. So, if a daughter married away, it wasn't indicated. Only in 1830, the marriage age was officially regulated in Russia, with minimum 16 years for females and 18 years for males. However, age of girls under 16 still can be found. At the same time, until you find the actual birth record, you don't know the exact age. ......................... To find out the fate of Ivan you can research the 7th (1815-16) census, as something happened to them before 1834 (the 8th census). | | Лайк (1) |
