She didn't really change. Maria gave two different brithdate for her husband then her children gave another birthdate of his father. I have more the impression that he gave an approximate date but that they did not know anything about it. It was already known that in 1877 Grigoriy was a staff captain. He couldn't have been born in 1856 or 1857 as Maria claimed. Age didn't match

If I understand correctly, we have the couple Mikhail Vasiliev Nechaev (1786?) and Stepanida Vasilievna Tikhomirova (1790?) who married on March 29, 1810 in Moscow and had 6 children: Ivan (?), Anna (?), Vasily (1818?), Konstantin (1827), Stepan (1829) and Grigory (1831)
Mikhail Vasiliev Nechaev is the son of Vasily X Nechaev and Anna Alekseeva (the widow sergeant)?
Stepanida Vasilievna Tikhomirov is the daughter of Vasily X Tikhomirov and undefined mother
The Nechaev family was a family of master printer at Moscow University so probably all born in Moscow
The only thing that puzzles me is the age of the parents and children according to the confession book found by OlgaKob in 1828. If Mikhail and Stepanida were respectively 36 and 30 years old in 1828, then in 1810 when they married they had 18 and 12 years old
I have a little question about Ivan and Anne Nechaev. They are present in the confession book in 1828 but not in the census 1834-1850. Are they dead or did they just leave the house ? | | Лайк (1) |

It's not indicated how she's related to him, which means she could be a renter at his home. His mother should have been listed as his mother, because it was required to name the relation in the household, as apparently the household should be a family, but sometimes there could be other people unrelated to the owner. | | Лайк (2) |
