Asz (Ash) Izhak the son of Iossel was born in 1921 in Kovel (now Wolyhnia Oblast of Ukraine, before 1939 it was Poland) he was the son of Mani Asz (Rabinerzon) and Iossel Asz. He graduated from the School2 in 1941 and left Kovel at first days of war. Since this time he has never seen his mother – Mani Asz
Their adress at Kovel was Maciewska, 10, the father of Mani Asz (Rabinerzon) were Beirish Rabinerzon and Freida Rabinerzon, she also have children Scheindla (was born in 1898) and brother Menucha.
Mani married Iossel Asz approx. in 1920, but the marriage destroyed 3-4 years later, after that Iossel Asz has been moved to Brest. We know for sure that he has been living there at least at 1931.
We look for representatives of these (Rabinerzon and Asz) family line and also Srul (Izrael) Shamush, the biggest friend of Asz Itzhak, who has been in Kovel in time of Holocaust and who can know more details about the fate of Mani Asz after Nazi invasion in the town. We are interested in fate of Mani Asz and any information about her last days.
Information about other representatives of this family
Menucha Rabinerzon was married Klara Balter (was born in 1910) – all this family was killed in time of the Holocaust.
Scheindla Rabinezohn has married Nechemia Semachovich (was born 1892), their have 3 children – Semachovich Freida, Mariam and Nechuma, they lived in Brest before the War and were in the list of imprisoners ob Brest ghetto.

After we have started to collect any information about Rabinerzon family we have visited Kovel and The central Archive of Wolyhnia in Lutsk. For a great pity there ate no any registrations of birth, death and marriages there. Beirish and Freida Rabinezons are on the list of the local Jewish community. The last year of Beirish is on the list is 1935, after it only M.Rabinerzon is here, that could be Menucha.
We also have found a photo of Rabinerzon’s shop on photo collection of Boris Feldblum
here http://www.bfcollection.net/cities/ukraine/kovel/kovel.html
Where photo is undersigned as

Kovel in World War I. German soldiers walking along "Kaiserstrasse", renamed from Lutsko-Shossejnaya. Business signs read: B. Rabinersohn (variant: Rabinerzon); Haberdashery. Photo ca. 1915.

At the address book of Kovel we have found an information that in 1927-1928 Beirish was a footwear seller at Warszawska street.
With the help of Kovel Jews Society in Israel we have found an information from “The Kovel Book” that Beirish Rabinerzon was in the management of the Second Bank for Mutual Credit and the manager of The big Kovel synagogue. It really shocked us – the new image of this for so unfamiliar for the modest footwear trader, that used to think some time that these are 2 different men!

Page 80. 6-13 There was another very important public Jewish center in
Kovel that worked a lot to benefit the local Jewish residents in both
mind and matter. In Kovel there were 5 official banks back then: A) the
Royal Bank. B) the Russian Bank for Trade and Industry. C) the First Bank
for Mutual Credit. D) the Private Bank of Weintraub-Lubzuwski. E) the
Second Bank for Mutual Credit, which was in the management of Brish
Rabinerzon RIP. The First Bank for Mutual Credit was a central Jewish
Commerce and Work in Kovel and a Center for Zionism matters.

Page 106, 18-29: I recall and episode from those days, that relates to a
certain Policeman. He was called Davidia. Davidia’s social status was
so “high” that even the load-bearers were ashamed of him. Until the
Germans and Austrian came, he was as low as the dust from the
fire-fighters feet. And now he had grace, his time has come, the change
to get the rank of Policeman was given to him and there he is – joining
the Police force and kidnapping Jews for labor. One day, the manager of
synagogue affairs of the city’s great synagogue – Brish Rabinerzon -
a 50 year old Jew, was walking down the street. Davidia noticed him.
Apart from all the other “great traits” that Davidia had, he also had
a stutter. Brish Rabinerzon asked him: Davidia, at my age I should sweep
streets? And Davidia retorted in his mal tongue: Y-y-y-ou w-w-w-want me
r-r-r-oad? Which means: and what would you rather I clean roads instead
of you?

There are a lot of enigmatique and misterious in this case – for example we still do not know did Berish Rabinerzon died BEFORE or in the time of the Holocaust. Now we think that he died 1935-1937, and the documents of YadVa-Shem is deeply mistaken and he died before. But the more interesting thing for us is the last days of Mani Asz (Rabinerzon).
