This option is available for men or women who have Relative Finder results from a third party company that used the Illumina OmniExpress Plus Genotyping BeadChip (this includes tests performed by 23andMe). Please note, uploaded files are batch processed once a week. You will be notified by e-mail when your file has been processed.
*You will be matched with others who have also taken the Family Finder test. However, if you come from an under-represented population, it is possible that you will not find matches right away. Your matches largely depend on how your DNA compares to our database. As our database is constantly growing, we will send you e-mail notifications about any new matches.
IMPORTANT: Your results from Family Tree DNA compared to another company's results will be similar, however, they WILL NOT be exact. Due to Family Tree DNA's proprietary algorithm your matches, centimorgan totals, and centimorgan length will vary.
How do I download my 23andMe results? You may download your 23andMe results by following these steps:
Login to your 23andMe Account. (https://www.23andme.com/user/signin/)
On the top menu bar, select Browse Raw Data from the Account menu.
On the top right, look for the Download Raw Data link.
Clicking this link will take you to the download page.
Scroll down and enter your password and your secret question answer.
Be sure that your profile is selected, and click the Download Data button.
Your download should begin. Please note where the file is saved on your computer.
After downloading your results, you will need to extract them from the compressed ZIP format. To extract the file, you will need compression/decompression software. Many such programs are available for FREE. A few are:
7-Zip (Windows)
PeaZip (Windows and Linux)
The Unarchiver (MAC)
The result should be a file with the .TXT file extension.
Мечтаю о 10-й РС, но особого смысла в ней нет - я даже отчества своего прадеда Прокопа Ковалева (или Федосенко) не знаю, а они там еще в конце Х1Х в. бесфамильные. 
Да, МакДоналд определил ее как наполовину белоруску, но пока ничего литовского не просматривается: прадед из Нижегородской губ. (Горбатовский у.), другой прадед и обе прабабки из Симбирской губ.
