Since last year we found a bit about the family,
see my previous posts and the second one.We learned a lot about Zygmunt (married, no children 1898-1955) and nothing about Maria-Marcelina-Ewa (?-? died young?)
We learned nothing about Jan (Iwan) son of Jan greatson of Michał and his descendants.
We learned that our greatgrand father Józef married not Julie Adele but her sister (new!) (one of other five sisters) Elżbieta (Elisabeth Wilhelmine) Pieńkowska (1860-1939)
We learned that Jakub Nowicki, father of Adolf, Henryk and Wincenty-Witold is in fact Adolf-Jakub 1875-1930,
one of six brothers including my geat grand father Józef,
all sons of Franciszek son of Ludwik and (new!) Wincentyna Skrzyńska.
I now know all descendants of Wincenty-Witold (two children and two grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren).
I do know about two children of Henryk (and about the family of his wife) and try to learn more about Henryk's grand children (possibly four).
I know nothing about Adolf, the brother of Wincenty-Witold and Henryk, apparently he was married and had a son.
The three brothers were born in 1900-1905 died in 1970-1975.
We found that another brother of Adolf-Jakub and Józef, Aleksander lived (new!) 1872-1938 he was shot dead by NKWD.
Aleksander and Adolf were born in (new!) Prochorivka near StaroKonstantynov.
We found that the fourth son of Franciszek and Wincentyna, Wincenty married Eliza Łada
and was a bookkeeper in sugar factory in Kalnik, after the father of the writer Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz,
Jarosław mentions Wincent and Elizain his memoirs (but very unfavorable). We do not know about any children.
We still do not know about the other two of the six brothers Bronisław and Stanisław.
From the other branch of the family, the descendants of Franciszek-Łukasz, brother of Ludwik (both sons of Jan, greatsons of Michal)
who was the father of Franciszek and grandfather of the six brothers:
Józef-Otto, son od Antoni (and greatson of Franciszek-Łukasz) and (new!) Julia Szczerbińska was born in 1839 near Horbulev near Zhytomir
and in 1872 married Bronisława Grabkowska daughter of Kazimierz Grabkowski and Maria Kochanowicz, there is a scan of the marriage act.
Józef-Otto was a head of the telegraph station in Erevan (Armenia) in 1873, and also in Nuha (now Sheki in Azerbeijan) in 1882 (adres-calendar)
They (probably) had three sons: Franciszek, Stanisław and Kazimierz, the last one born in Nuha in 1880 - this yet needs to be confirmed.
Kazimierz married Maria Irena Kowalewska (born 1895 in Ekaterinoslav). They had three daughters Zofia Anna (born in Warsaw 1930, late child it seems),
Iga and Hanka -again this needs to be confirmed.
