20 июля 2013 23:10 Hello, I'm looking for any info about my ancestors that were living in Lithuania, in Vilnus area (the village was called "Wińków" in Polish, I don't know what it is in Lithuanian now). They had about 100ha. My current family tree consists of following names:
Rajmund Karaffa-Korbutt + his wife Olimpia (family name unknown) had following children: - Adam - Adelia - Antoni - Maria - Weronika - Witold - Józef (my grand-grand-father, ab. 1850-1924) + Tekla Lichodziejewska (ab. 1860 - 1908) had 7 children: - Jan - Maria - Piotr (my grand-father) - 4 names are unknown
After the revolution in 1918 the estate was confiscated by Bolsheviks and the whole family was deported/moved to "Czernicznoje" (again, please point it on a map for me, if you could, please - I think it's in Belarus nowadays). Rajmund's son - Józef - probably died in 1924 in this village and the family was separated - some of his children like Jan and Piotr (my grand-grand-father) managed to flee to Poland to join the newly formed Polish Army and fight for Poland. The rest was probably killed or survived and continued the Karaffa-Korbutt family. After the war I think Piotr has returned to now-Lithuania and settled in Vilnus area, it's unclear but somehow they've ended up in Wińków. When the second world war started they fleed to Pikeliškės and then, finally, to Poland where they settled and I was born.
Any info about their families and connections would be very appreciated. --- Looking for information on Karaffa - Korbutt family in Lithuania region from 1900's. Especially about Rajmund Karaffa-Korbutt. |
