My Grandfather lived in this area he died in 1996,
the pictures from your daughter look like they were made in Holland-
which is on the upper left oft Michigan.
It is beautiful up there
America is not for everybody, it has its good and bad sides,
after so many years living here, I am still a stranger here
at least in my heart, but now I am also a stranger in my own country.
I am happy to see that your daughter had this experience,
it is good to travel the world, so you can see and understand
it better.
Because normaly, what people tell you is different from the truth,
it is always better to see for yourself,
because each person sees things different.
I think, to understand America one would have to live in each state
and spend time with, and get to know all the different kind of people.
I also believe, that this would be true for Russia,
because each region is very different from the other.
I wish everybody would travel the world and learn about different cultures,
I think he world would be a much happier place.
