My great Grandfather came to the United States in 1909 he was not married until he came to the United States. His Name was Peter Mikeal Shestak he was born September 15, 1887 this is what he put on his registration cards and born in Minska Soviet Union. I found a record that said he was 35 years old in 1930
which would put his year of birth 1895. So the date of birth is different than his social security record.
Is Shestak a common name? He may of had it changed. We did ancestry and cannot locate any family. I appreciate all your help. His mother's name was Dorthy Nimeri

My Aunt who is related is on Gedmatch and her kit #A889993
I don't know how to use it. But this is all the information I have. We just don't know any of the family he left behind. Peter had five children in the United States Alex, Peter Jr, Josephine, George and Johnnie. With his wife Aniela Gerula she was from Austria Galicia she arrived in the United States May 22,1913 she was born in lashowka. Came over to the US. She arrived in New York on Kaiser Wilhelm II
