10 сентября 2020 15:26 I am looking for any information about the Russian family living in Poland:
Nikolai Charytonevich Babenko, born 1875/1876 in Deblin/Ivanograd, had 3 sisters. As fat as I know the Orthodox record from Ivanograd have not survived in Poland. Parents: Charyton Babenko and Julia Kirylenko. Nicolai was an Orthodox priest.
Nikolai married Anna Uspenskaya in 1899 in Zamość. We have not found her birth record in Zamość (checked Orthodox and Roman Catholic records). Parents: Wasily Uspensky and Maria (Vansitzkaya?)
Nikolai and his wife later moved to Byalynichy, Belarus. Anna died probably in the 30s there. Nikolai, was probably executed 1942 in Byalnichy , because he was against the soviet regime. His daughter, Galina Babenko married Jevgeny Lukin in Byalynichy. Then they moved to St. Petersburg and my grandfather Yury Lukin was born 1938. Galinas brother Gregory moved to Dnipro.
Any suggestions about the research possibilities would be appreciated.

2 января 2021 22:09 Hello...I am looking for information on my great grandfather and my great grandmother...they arrived in the united states August 27, 1911 on the s.s. lituania. According to US immigration records my great grandfather was named Nasary Stasuk (stasin) and he was born October 14, 1882 in Chatsku Russia. His wife's name was Hawroni...other name is maslow...not sure if it's a last name ... They were married September 1909 in Chatsku Russia. She was born in Chatsku Russia..date unknown. She arrived in the United States on July 10, 1913 and died in 1925. Some documents list his father as Klim Stachkt and mother as Mamie Polokly. I have other names associated with him...there's been a lot of mystery on this side and I remember asking my great aunts/ uncle's about it and was told it's not my business.

5 января 2021 4:14 5 января 2021 4:23 What I see in the passenger llst. is that many of them come from Volhynian Governorate, so it's just the first Shatsk. Unfortunately, I can't identificate the town Rudiski. You also can see he had a brother Semion there. Maybe this Ruda https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruda_(rejon_lubomelski) ? But you better ask in the group on FB I gave you the link. So you have to search for Nazariy Stasiuk. married 1908 or 1909 to Khavronia Maslova... Best --- Катерина

18 августа 2022 22:28 Hello, I am looking for any birth/baptism record for my great grandmother. Her name was Elizabetha Tatoczenko(Таточенко). She was born on March 8 1877 according to this document She was the daughter or Iwan(Иван) and Anna Petrenko. From that document, she was born in Czerwone (maybe Червоне?) in the Nikolaev region, in Ukraine. this document is from 1947. She married Iwan Ber, sometimes spelled Berko. Elizabeth(Liza) and Iwan had two children, Евгения и Александр. My grandmother said they were both born in the city of Nikolaev. Евгения Бер или Берко was born 8 January 1910, and Alexander was born in 1915. I can not find ANY record for their birth! Can anyone please help me?? Alexander married my grandmother in 1939 in the Богоявленск church (Later called Жовтневе) very near Nikolaev, but now it is part of the city of Nikolaev, So maybe that is a clue. If you can help please message me! Thank you VERY much
