I am looking for the Zotov family, to gain my adopted daughter's family heritage.  She does not know exactly her family's origins, or even what race she is.  Her biological father was Vladimir Zotov, and they lived in Southeast Kazakhstan.  She has inferred a few times that she may have been born in a different country located south of the border (i.e. Uzbekistan or somewhere) and that members of her family may still be there.  If anyone could help me out on the Zotov family, any known history, etc., that would be wonderful.

I think you have to specify your request. It is too wide.
There is a little chance somebody can help you in this website.
Did you adopt a child  from where ? Do you have a name of organization who help you to adopt a child? Which documents do you have about her adoption?
If her parents weren't repressed, or had a criminal  records you have to send your request to specefic areas where they are (supposed) living.
A lot of Zotov lastnames in ExSSSR. I know one Zotov, but his family and kids never been adopted and live this him.

Anyway  you have to start from some her documents.
Title of adopt organization, address, Lastnames of people who signed this doc's and ..of course.. dates (date of birth, baptism, adoption...).
