10 марта 2005 18:18 My name is Ivana Kotov, 27 years old reiding in Belgrade, Serbia. I am desperatly looking to find any possible infromation about Kotov family that have been existed in Poltava until 1917. My grandfather Ivan Kotov was born on january 30th 1904 in Poltava son of father Fjodor Kotov (officier of russian royal army)and mother Serafina. I was told that there were 3 more children in the family, 2 sons- russian cadets and 1 daughter, I wish I knew their names. My grandfather Ivan was 12 years old when revolution started and somebody helped him to escape on a train that was heading to Serbia. This is where he lived and raised his family, but the other traces of the Kotov's family were erased.
I am the last Kotov in my family tree, please reply to this message if you have any usefull information about any now existing Kotov family in Poltava, I will be happy to know that there are some of us still left out there!
