Рейтинг: 1 | I’m researching my family history and trying to understand the connection between my Polish noble ancestors and the later Russian branch who lived in Tsarskoye Selo (Царское Село) during the 19th and early 20th centuries. My great-grandfather Valerian Zalinski (Валериан Залинский) left Russia for Belgium (Бельгия) in 1920, together with his brother Ivan Zalinski (Иван Залинский), after the defeat of the White Army. Their father, Stanislav Zalinski (Станислав Залинский), is believed to have served in the Imperial police at the palace in Tsarskoye Selo (Царское Село), while their grandfather Maximilian Zalinski (Максимилиан Залинский) was a Kapellmeister at the Tsar’s court (придворный капельмейстер). I have found several military and administrative records (военные и административные записи) mentioning members of my family, but I haven’t yet been able to trace the earlier Polish origins of the line. I’m particularly interested in learning how and when the family entered Imperial Russian service. If anyone has experience with Tsarskoye Selo archives (архивы Царского Села), Imperial administration records (архивы императорской администрации), or Polish noble families who settled in Russia (польские дворянские семьи, переселившиеся в Россию), I’d be very grateful for your advice. Thank you in advance for any help or leads Here are some archives I already found: Information about Ivan, the son of Stanislav and brother of my great grandfather: https://www.ria1914.info/index...0%B8%D1%87https://mikhael-mark.livejournal.com/1206290.html?es=1Information related to Pawel, a brother of Stanislav: https://docs.google.com/docume...it?tab=t.0https://m.pamyat-naroda.ru/her...amp;page=1 |
