Since 1847 he was the head of Zamoskvorechye blagochiniye (the clerical country in Moscow, probably this is where the title of protoiereus comes from). His funeral was on May 19th, and it was performed by Bishop Ignatius of Mozhaysk. It also says that his wife died before him. And he was burried at the Danilovskoye cemetary, where his wife rested and other relatives. ..............................
