They say they've found ONE FILE containing SEVERAL documents on Grigory Nechaev regarding him being qualified for a pension.
They suggest four options:

- a SPRAVKA (i.e. an official letter or report) with detailed information/facts from ALL documents inside the archival file, which will be ABOUT 15,300

- Official copies of all documents containing in the file made by the archive - 14,800
- a SPRAVKA of only the 'service list' (posluzhnoy spisok) of Grigory Nechaev, which will be about 1,700
- a copy of the service list only - 1, 500 Ruble

posluzhnoy spisok is a report or sheet containing the service biography of an officer, so you can find out where and when he served, and maybe the info about his background, education, merital status, family, awards. Here is an example of such a list

You can choose all, but as I got it, each option will be invoiced individually.

I think you can find one on this forum provided you both figure out how to transfer payment.

P.S. Posluzhnoy spisok is the most informative document and the health cetrificate (svidetelstvo o sosloyanii zdorovya), I think, may be of interest too. However, other docs are important too.
My advice: go for a private specialist who'll copy or transcript it for you and sent via email

So, I can't get a birth certificate or a marriage certificate from Chaussy because the documents were not preserved. The only thing we know is that Maria Tolstoi claims to have been born at the Yalovo estate in 1857, whose owners were Nikolai Dmitrievitch Tolstoy, son of the governor of Mogilev, Dmitri Alexandrovitch Tolstoy.

What could be interesting to investigate is the Siniavsky family. When Daniil and Nedzia Kossova got married, when and where Daniil was born, and if they had other children. But well, if they lived in Belarus, I'm a bit stuck...
