I have a question regarding the age of Konstantin Netchaiev. When he died in 1898, you indicate that he was 70 years old, which gives a birth in 1828. According to the ages of the children at their marriage, Elisaveta was born in 1856 and Aleksandr in 1863, Konstantin was therefore 28 and 35 years old respectively. when her children were born. Does this all seem consistent to you? He seems quite old when compared to his brother Grigoriy. I mean it looks like Grigoriy was born around 1850

The age in the Russian metrical books is rarely acurate, meaning it was never based on documents but on words. In case of the deсeased, sometimes, it could be even based on the evaluation of their age by theшк looks (young, old, very old) by the priest himself. Thus, some metrical books give the unrealistic age of over 100 years.
