Grandfather - Great grandfathers and siblings

I'm writing to you in English because I don't speak Russian, but I read everything you write via Translate.

I have read too many post in this website and you have really helped to many people. Congratulations.

I need help too.
I want you to guide me where I could look for some information.

My grandfather was born in Sochi, Russia in 1920 (some papers say 1923, but he said 1920).

My great-grandfather and great-grandmother lived in Trabzon, but of all things, they emigrated to Sochi, Russia (most likely by our calculations) after 1905. Maybe earlier, maybe later, but we think after 1905. They lived there until 1927 ~ 1929 and then came to Greece. That means more than 20 years.

Along with my great-grandfather we know that there were 2 of his brothers also in Sochi (therefor their kids also).

So, logically, there must be records somewhere with some information because they were born there, lived there for a few years, maybe went to school there and some of them were merchants there.

Where could I look?
Are there any sites that have old records?

Example on FamilySearch I have found a lot of information about some ancestors of mine, from church records mostly, who lived in Kars around 1870, so I think there is definitely information about my grandfather who was born in 1920 in Sochi.

Can anyone guide me?

First of all I will tell you that my last name is "Nikolaidis" but because my Great-Grandfather born in Trabzon, it could be "Nikologlou" or because my Grandfather born in Sochi, it could be "Nikolov/Nikolaidov.

The surname I am searching on is: NIKOLAIDIS
In the documents it can also be as:
Nikolaidis or Nikologlu or Nikolov as I wrote before.

I really want to find more information for my Grandfather, his birth day, who was his Godfather and every single staff like this, because these kind of files exist. Maybe not digitalized but exist!
