Here's what I found.
On the Russian WWI database gwar.mil.ru
there're quite a few of Gorohovs form Glazunovka hamlet (derevnya) Staro-polevskaya volost (Старо-полевская волость) Oryol District (Oryol governorate). The center of the volost was the estate (seltso) of Staroye pole, shared by a few landlords.

Possibly, this is your locality.
Staropolevo (Старополево) is a hamlet (derevnya) in the Glazunovo district of Oryol oblast. The alternative name is seltso Storozhevo (сельцо Сторожево).

Glazunovka (Глазуновка) is a borough (posyolok gorogskogo typa) in Oryol oblast, the center of a district. The borough was named Glazunovka after the hamlet nearby in 1904.

I've found only one metric book from 1871 of Storozhevo Oryol district: Oryol archive fonds 220 series 2 file 2063 (фонд 220 опись 2 дело 2063 Метрическая книга Богородице-Рождественской церкви с. Сторожево Орловского уезда).

The fonds 760 series 1 (census lists aka revizskiye skazki) doesn't seem to have any reference to Glazunovo of the Oryol district. It only has censuses of the Storozhevo (Staropolye) for year 1858 (10th census) - file # 962
There's also mention of a landlord named Glazunov. but from the Maloarhangelsk district. file # 559

Also, nearby Glazunovka there's the village of Staroye Gorohovo, to take into consideration.

Hi! Unfortunately, my genealogy region is not Oryol, but on the forum there are (of course, in Russian) sections dedicated to particular archives. I wish I could help, but I live too far from the place and have as much access as you do.
As for the communication with the archive. I've found this additional email on their website: gaoo-orel@yandex.ru.
It's on Yandex. Maybe it will help. I don't know if Yandex is banned in Europe. The official email (orel_arch@orel-region.ru) is corpotate and maybe this is why there's a problem with getting through from abroad. Or maybe there's a way to find a middleman on this forum who'll help you with the archive.
