My name is Jack. I was born in Murom on July 18th, 1996. At the time, my name was Sergei Aleksander-something. I was adopted in February of 1998 along with my brother, Charlie, who was named Ivan and was born on August 27th, 1997. We are not blood related, we just happened to be adopted together.
I'd like any and all knowledge about my biological parents.
Spacibo,
Jack[/q]
Hi Sergei-Jack, my name is Alex. I don't know whether you've finally got any actual updated info about your parents. If not - please try to get the info in two ways. First you request FOIA in USCIS - "I am requesting a complete copy of my Alien File (A-File). I was adopted from Russia in 1998. I am seeking all documents related to my adoption, including the original Russian birth certificate, medical records from the Murom orphanage, and the Russian court decree of adoption. My name at birth was [Russian Name], born on [Date of Birth] in Murom, Russia."
. And also you write to Russian gov. of Guardianship and Trusteeship. Use Russian language and send it by paper letter with your signature.
