Search in Rostov-on-Don

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to carry out genealogical research on the couple Vassily Politov (Василий Политов) and Doucia Krasnov (Дуся Краснова), who were probably married in the 1950s. Doucia was born on 21 August 1924, most likely in Rostov-on-Don. I would therefore like to search the birth registers between 1900 and 1925 in order to find Vassily, his parents, and any siblings. I’m also interested in any census records or confessional lists that might provide information about his family.
Is there anywhere with a link to digitised archives for Rostov-on-Don covering this period? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

As far as I understand, to find a marriage certificate I need to contact the ZAGS (civil registry office) in Rostov-on-Don, but each district has its own ZAGS and I have no idea what their addresses were at that time.
The search is quite difficult as I have very little information. I do know that Vassily was a school principal.
