These are interesting, but I believe these are the descendants of an "Adolph Antonovich Plischke," son of Anton Plischke who was born in about 1848 and died in May of 1900. Russian documents say that this Adolph was sent to a concentration camp in 1941.

I think I forgot to mention that the person who I am seeking out is an "Adolph Francev Plischke."

Nonetheless, this is cool. They're probably distant relatives of the Adolph I am looking for. These Adolph's both were born around the same time and so were their fathers. And their middle names are also the first names of their fathers.

Thanks for sharing this.

I am seeking out an Adolf Plischke. He was born in c. 1876 to Franz / Francis Plischke and Anna Petzold (birth location unknown). His known siblings are: Michael (born c. 1878), Amalia (born 1882), Apolonia (born 1883), Gustav (born 1885), Anna (born 1889), Francis (born 1893), Josefina (born 1895), John (born 1897), and Theodore (born 1900).

He married an Amalia Kaufman on February 6, 1900, in Samara. He had several children with her. Their children that I know of are:
— Regina (born 1901)
— Emilia born 1902)
— Anna (born 1904)
— Paulina (born 1906)
— Joseph (born 1909)
— John (born 1910)
— Francis (born 1911)
— Maria (born 1913)
— Regina (born 1917)

These records can be found in "Samara, Russia, Church Books, 1748 – 1934."

I would like to find out more about his descendants as well.

I would like to see any other information on himself but also his family, particularly information on his father, Franz / Francis Plischke, and his brother Michael.

According to Canadian newspapers, Adolph's sister Amalia (Plischke) Kotschorek, was said to be born in Bergthal, Samara, Russia, in 1882. For other siblings, obituaries say that they were born in Russia. This means that his family probably lived here (Bergthal).

The Samara Church Books say that he married an Amalia Kaufman on February 6, 1900. I recall reading a family document saying there was an Adolph Plischke in my family who stayed in Russia and married an Amalia Kaufman.

I don't know exactly where he lived.

According to Canadian immigration records, his mother Anna made a visit to Russia to visit him in 1922 in Samara, which means he was living in 1922. In his brother Francis's 1961 obituary, it says that he was still living then.
