Good morning,
This is my first post on this forum, so please forgive me if I'm not posting in the right section. I come from Poland and for several years I have been looking for information about the missing great-great-grandfather Antoni Pędziwiatr (Антон Пендзищиатр), born about 1880 in Wola Wydrzyna near Sulmierzyce (Воля-Виджина near Сульмежиці) son of Franciszek and Zofia Kowalczyk (Франциск and София Кощалцзик), husband of Józefa Kieras / Kierasińska (Иосифа Киерас). According to family stories, Antoni died during the Soviet-Polish war, but during the search I came to other conclusions. On the birth certificate of Antoni's last child, it is written that Antoni was sent to forced labor in Dermań (Дермань) It was 1911, so he could have been sent as early as 1910. I haven’t found any information about labor camps in Dermań or Antoni’s death certificate so the trail ends here and I don't know where else to look for information.
