Нещо ново по тема за бялата емиграция в България
Резюме: The purpose of the publication is to tell about the role of Russian emigrants during the earthquakes in our country in April 1928 and to reveal details of the charitable action of the Cossacks of the Don Corps, who lived in the country at that time.The beginning of the campaign was given by their commander - Lt. Gen. Fyodor Abramov, who issued a special order 4 days after the second destructive earthquake. The Cossacks collected among themselves a considerable sum and sent it to the Bulgarian Red Cross. The publication mentions other examples of Russian refugees' assistance to earthquake victims without the Bulgarian government making a special appeal to white emigrants. Moreover, not once, not even in any document, does it even a hint that they were indebted to the society for the help our country had given them. The charity work after the earthquakes was entirely on the initiative of the white emigrants in Bulgaria.
