Hello, I try to find tracks of my Ukrainian grandmother. She was called ANA KUTCHERENKO (according to the birth certificate of my mother born in France), She was born in October, 1921 to Kisilivka in Russia ..... but in fact chez was not russian but really ukrenian .... In the year my mother was born - 1951 - the Ukraine was considered as Russia She was an aviator for the Russian army during the war against the Nazis and was captured by German. At the end of the war, she came to live in France beacuse was preignant of my grandfather who married her few months later. I shall wish to determine the rent of Kisilivka because on the birth certificate it is indicated that it is in Russia yet(now) my grandmother was ukrenienne. and the only village I found (named Kesilivka) is in 200kms of Kiev or she told to my mother she was born near Kiev (she offenly said she was born in Kiev). Someone can help me to find the right way to write Kisilivka ? (in phonetical) Do you know if is ot possible to contact the army or another structure having access to the archives of the army ? I hope to find my first tracks by this way. Thanks in advance for your help. Kindly
