This story was published in East-Siberian Pravda (Newspaper, 20 Oct 2001).

It says that general has son Boris. He was married Claudia Dmitrievna Semenevskaya. She was from Ukraine but lived in Sankt-Petersburg. The have three children: Vladimir, Elena and Eugenia. Boris and Claudia divorced after the death of general and Claudia was married Andrei Feofanovitch Svechnikov (also from Ukraine).
There is no informaion about where, when and how Boris died.

Attention! All of four children of Claudia and Andrei had the surname of Linevich and were not descendants of general!!!

Vladimir Borisovitch was lost in First World War, Elena died with her kind.

So the one known (for the authors of the article) descendant of general is Eugenia Borisovna Linevich.

Eugenia was married Mikhail Mikhailovich Kozinec, he was red cosack. They met in Verhneudinsk town. They lived in Irkutsk. But then Eugenia and Mikhail also were divorced. They had son Vladimir and daughter Nina. Vladimir has daughter Irina.

Due to the help of the member of our forum Alex1 it was possible to find the additional information about Linevichs, including about relatives of general Linevich.

The information from S.I.Volkov's book " Officers of the Russian guards ":
Linevich Alexander Nikolaevich - born 18.01.1882. Graduated the Page Korpus (Пажеский корпус) 1901. The colonel, the commander of 1-st battery Leib-guards Horse artillery. In a 11-12.1918 managing economic part of an officer team of general Kirpichov in Kiev. The general major. In emigration in Germany. Has died on August, 5, 1961 in Berlin.
(I Think he is a son of gen. N.P. Linevich)

In " Not forgotten tombs " V.N.Chuvakov is still:
1. Linevich Grigory Grigorjevich - (? - 22 янв. 1922, Harbin, China).
The engineer - technologist. A member of the Union of engineers of right-of-way Chinese-Ost Railway. Has died of a flu.

2. Linevich Lion Platonovich - (? - on July, 2 1969, Sydney, Australia).
Kadet 11-th release. The gifted artist, wrote short humor stories. The widow: Alexandra Anatoljevna.

3. Linevich Antonina Michailovna- (? - on March, 27 1936, Harbin, China).
It come from Kharkov. Mother of Nina Grigorjevna Barchenko (Linevich). The wife of engineer G.G.Linevicha (is see higher), nephew N. P.LINEVICH, last commander-in-chief in the Russian-Japanese war. Almost all life has has carried out on the Far East where her husband served on Ussurian railway. It is buried in Harbin on March, 29, 1936.

4. Linevich (Obolyaninov) Maria Aleksandrovna - (? - 28 апр. 1925, Paris).
It is buried on May, 3, 1925.

5. Linevich Olga Vasiljevna - (25.04.1894 - 16.11.1987, Paris).
It is buried 20 .11.1987 on cemetery Saint Jenviev de Boa.
