I was able to finally find the true identity of my great-great-grand-mother born in Polivanovo (Ryazan) the 8th of November 1896.
As i'm not very familiar with Russian website and genealogy in general, is there any way to find more about her parents / grand-parents and so on ?
Is there a way to find informations about her parents (Feodor Emelyanov CERKASOV and Paraskeva Nikiforova) and their marriage ?

Hi. You must research their genealogy in the State archives of Ryazan oblast. Polivanovo was in Okun'kovo (Kunkovo) volost (Okun'kovskaya volost) of Mikhailov uyezd, Ryazan governorate. There's no digitized or indexed database on the village or Ryazan region. The village was originally owned by gentry (vladelcheskoye). There are metrical books for this village, including 1896. However, they're not digitized at all. |
