...and excuse me for continuing in English, although my Russian is quite OK! But it is extremely painful and time consuming to use cyrillic in my computer and by some unknown reason my message by the same theme, which was written in Russian and almost ready, was lost just before sending!!

So, two cousind of my grandmother, brothers Jaan and Märt Käsebier from Estonia (Viljandi of Fellin county) appeared in Sovet Union after the Russian revolution. I am very much interested, if they have any successors in Russia and if yes, want to establish contacts with them:

(Märt or Martin Käsebier, 30.05.1894-08.01.1938)
http://www.visz.nlr.ru/search/lists/karel/234_10.html

It is quite few to know about him. He participitated in WWI and it is unknown, why and when appeared in Russian Karelia. Also, the mother ob the two brothers, Liisa Käsebier (nee Pärnits, 19.01.1874-?), after the death of his husband in 1924, left Estonia in 1927. In Estonian State Archive is a file about her from year 1936, where is possible to find, that in Estonia she took part in the communist movement and had been also in prison for that. at least in 1936 she lived together with her older son Martin in Karelia. No further data about her.

(Jaan Käsebier, 01.03.1904-11.11.1937)
http://www.visz.nlr.ru/search/lists/t3/234_3.html

About him is also the separate file In Estonian State Archive. There isalso his CV, where he is writing that after graduating from local village school he started to work in the local brick factory, later did construction work with his father. He also was involved in communist movement, for what he was sentenced to prison for 4 years from 1924 to 1928. After release from prison he illegaly escaped to USSR, studied in the Коммунистический университет национальных меньшинств Запада имени Мархлевского, later in the 13-th Higher Industrial Scool (probably the same студент Индустриального института). Accordin to the file he had a wife or girlfrend with family name of Hein-Kõrve, the first name of her is not written there. Ms Hein-Kõrve seems to be a daughter of some Estonian illegal communist, but again, I have not find such person (maybe it was a nickname or he was known by some other nickname). There is also characterisation in the file about Jaan Käsebier, written by the prominent Estonian communist Jaan Sihver. It is quite negative, stating that, when sitting in the prison in estonia, he was twice applied petition for pardon. Also it was wery negative, that the father of her wife kept contacts with them through Estonian consulate in Leningrad, had even sent them money through consulate and agitated them to return from "workers paradise" to Estonia, whch was still free that time.

Any help/piece of information about these men or their possible descendants will be wery much appreciated!!

All the best,
