I have learned that they may have been nobility from the region around Moscow, and perhaps owned land in the Suwalki province, or perhaps further north in what is now Lithuania. I found the name Katarski as part of a place name. Can anyone out there help me find any information on this family in Russia? You can contact me at anettka@aol.com if you have anything.
