I'm looking for any information I can find on my Great Grandfather, David Constantine Lipton which is his Canadian name. I have a marriage certificate from here in Nova Scotia, Canada and it gives his place of birth as "Kotlin, Russia".
The other things I know is that he had a sister and his father's name was Constantine. He also apparently stowed away on a ship bound for Canada, Montreal I think, in 1910.
His birthday was 25 December 1888 +/- 1 year.
If there is someone out there that can point me in the right direction as to where to look for more information, all help in kindly appreciated.
