My surname is Tizya. My family are native born aboriginals of Northern
Canada/Alaska. I know that Tizyakov is a Russian name and my grandfather
told me that sometime in our history we mixed with Russians who ventured to
Northern Canada and/or Alaska. If anyone can give me information about the
regional history of the name Tizyakov that would be appreciated.
