I am trying to find the village that my grandfather came from outside of
Vilnius. He supposidly lived in the village of Sumilishky, the region
was Troki and the county Uezd. His name was Issac Abramovich. He was
in the Russian army and his discharge papers were in the year 1894-95
and he left Russia and came to the U.S./Canada in the late 1800's or
early 1900's. Any assistance would be much appreciated. kip knelman

<kip@knelman.com>
