Thanks to your Forum and Tanusya, I have found my brother Victor Toreev! But the search for the Toreev's root will still continue, since my brother does not know if he had a family, and also the origin of the name Toreev. Any information would be very helpfull in this search.

I am looking for my father's roots and my relatives. My father Gregory Stepanovitch Toreev was born in Russia in 1905, but I don't know where. He graduated the Highest Mellitary-Engineering Academy, was the mellitary officer (major) and worked in Gen Stab in Leningrad. He has died in 1941 (in the mellitary hospital in Moscow). I know that he had a son (also mellitary officer), Victor Toreev, from my father's first marriage. Victor was born in 1935-36. I have seen Victor in 1958, when he and his wife came from Vladivostok (?) to Leningrad to see me and my mother. Since then I don't know where Victor and his family is living now. I also know that my father had a sister, so it is possible that his sister had the children that could be my relatives, but since my father has died when I was 6 months old, I have not had a chance to meet anyone from my father's family. If anyone knows where the Victor Toreev (my half brother), or my father's family have lived, please let me know. Also, it would be interesting to know the roots of the Toreev last name.
