I am looking for my ancestors by the name of Jacob J. Arens, Arendt (there were several different spellings), born April 12, 1844. I am looking for information on his parents, families and names of the villages they lived in. I know they lived in South Russia in or near Mennonite settlements in the 1800's. The areas were Bergthal, Einlage, Chortitza, Orenburg and there may be other villages and or Districts.
