What do you want to know about this photo?
I should say, this person is not of His Majestys` Service (DVOR) (the uniform is not military, but at the same time not of the Tsar`s Sevice. May be it`s the everyday uniforme...).

Surely, he is an official of high rank (I`ll try to say something concerning details later on!).
Now I can say you all about his rewards and orders. Fortunatelly, we have a really good photo!

I am writing to you because you are my last hope in tracing my Russian �family.

I live in London. I wrote to Moscow Television Program �Zhdi Menia� and �contacted them �by post, E-mail and fax in June 2003 but I have not had a reply.
I was born in Poland and my grandfather and his wife escaped from �Russia to Poland in 1905.
My father was born in 1910 in Warsaw in Poland. Before he died, he gave �me a photograph of my great grandfather and told me that my real name �is GORBUNOV (or GORBUNOFF). I enclose for you a copy of the photo of my �great grandfather in his formal uniform.
I was told that my great grandfather was in the service of Tsar Nicolaj �II. He died in 1916 at probably the age of 69. Please help me.
