I am looking for any information on my great grandfather who came to the United States from Russia in 1903. His name is Vladislav (Wladislaw) Nikolsky. He was a priest (archbishop) of the Russian Orthodox Church.

From what I heard, he had twin boys when he escaped from persecution in Russia to the US. His wife turned him in to authorities and he swam across a river.

I beleive he was born around 1852 to 1862 in or around Archangel or Telesence (spelling could be wrong).
