Orlov Ivan Grigorijevich

Hello,

I came across this posting and would like to let you know this is regarding my grandfather, Ivan Obrenovich. We have located my Mother's baptismal certificate and the Church in Belgrade has confirmed he was born in the Dilj region of the Caucasus and held the title of prince.

Is there any information on this area and how I may obtain information on my grandfather and our family? We would very much like to understand what happened to them.

I tried to find something in the old Finish Newspapers,
but there are only references until the year 1887.
Before 1887 are many in regard to "Orlov"
only a few in regard to "Obrenovich"!

molim za pomo�. Tra�im da li imate informacije o Ivan Grigorijevich Orlov. Na kr�tenici njegove k�eri Dorotea Ekaterine pi�e:
Ivan Grigorijevich Orlov (John Gregory Orlov) Princ (Knyaz) Dilja i Kavkaza. Bio je o�enjen za Mariju Nata�u Obrenovi�, a k�er mu se zvala Dorotea Ekaterina. Trebao bi biti rodjen negdje oko 1900 godine, jer mu je k�er rodjena 1928.

I kindly request you for help. I am researching on Ivan Grigorijevich Orlov. He was married with Marija Natasha Obrenovich. On his daughter Birth certificate write:
Father: John Gregory Prince of Dilja & Caucas
Mother: Princess Marija Natasha Obrenovich

I presume that his name on Russian language has to be Ivan Grigorijevich. Name of his mother was Ekaterina Orlov. Year of his birth has to be from 1890-1905 because his daughter was born in 1928.
