Hello, I'm reviving this topic because I still haven't found a way to get my hands on this marriage certificate!
I know thanks to siadeblanc's answers that the village Rusaki was located in 1895 (and probably until 1917) here: �� ., �� (Vilna province, Disnensky district) in the Russian Empire. I also know that Rusaki was close to Postawy, because it was there that Hypolite, the son of Wincenty and Wiktoria, was probably baptized in the Orthodox parish.

Indeed, I didn't know that there were other Rusaki villages so close.

1. Rusaki near Kuropolje Postawy district
2. Rusaki near Lowce Kamai district

So there you should check 3 census Postawy, Kamai, Adutiski

Indeed, to my knowledge, Ippolit had three brothers: (in French) Valère, Basyl and Piétro (= Peter), so it is probably his brother!

Regarding the religion of Wikienty and Wiktorja, I have a birth certificate of Ippolit signed by the priest of the Orthodox parish of Postawy, translated into French, but since I do not have more information on the parents, I don't know if they were Catholic or Orthodox...

I am trying to trace the ancestry of my ancestors from Rusaki (��), a village currently in Belarus, Oblast Vitebsk (�� ), next to Postawy (�� ).

I am trying to find the marriage certificate (and it's translation) of Wikienty BOROWKO and Wiktorja KURPIK (�� ), Orthodox religion, probably celebrated in Postawy or Rusaki between 1865 and 1885. And if possible the marriage certificate of their parents.

One of the sons of Wikienty and Wiktorja was called Ippolit (��) and was married in Rusaki on 02/16/1919 to Jozefa SADOWSKA (�� ).
