Hi all, I am still searching for information about my great grandfather Dmitri Alexandrovich Baturin born 09. November 1893 near Ufa (most likely village Suyunevo): According to German documents his parent´s name were Alexander Baturin and Wilhelmine Schmidt.

I found somebody who is most likely a relative and he found a marriage certificate of Alexander Nikiforovich Baturin from Suyunevo and Anna Kusmichna Nekrassova which dates back to 25. October 1892. According to my calculations he was 22 years old when he married (born 1870) and it was apparently his first marriage. His wife was most likely 19 years old. The problem is that the name of the mother doesn´t match. But I am very sure he had a Volga (or Bashkortostan) German mother because I have a pretty close DNA match named Schmidt who is a Volga German. Furthermore I know somebody whose mother was a daughter-in-law of Dmitri Baturin and she said also he had German ancestry.

Also somebody provided me with information that somebody called Dmitri Baturin, age unknown, was a witness in 1911 of the bapism of Konstantin Baturin. The mother of Konstanin was Natalya Mikhailowna Baturina, widow of Alexander Baturin (died between 1906 and 1909). The other witness was Taissa Zhuravleva. By the way, the son of Dmitri made a DNA test and got a DNA match with somebody called Zhuravleva, but they share only little DNA.

I would be happy if you could help me out.
