Hello!

I am very glad that I found this site.
My name is Aimi and I am looking for the roots of my grandfather Ivan Vassiljev.
He was born in 30.04 (or 02.05 according to new calendar) 1887 in Beškovitskaja volost, �� . Nowadays it is Porhovskii rajona. In some sources, his birth year is 1888, but I guess that this is wrong.
His father was Vassili, son of Grigory and his mother was Anna.
He was in Russian army (23-� �� ).
Since 05.11.1919 he lived in Estonia, town Valga.
He might also have sister named Valja, but I am not sure about this information.
I also think that his coming to Estonia might be connected with ��-�� , but this is just my thought.
Can anyone help me to find out more about his roots and life in Russia? I am interested in every piece of information and tips.
Unfortunately my Russian is not so good to make archive researchers myself. But if you help me to the right source, I might be able to continue myself.
