I would really like to go through those books on family search but it seems they are sadly only available on microfilm in Salt Lake City.

Thank you all for your help. I have been doing my best to read and understand all the responses, but I'm slow. I'm sure my knowledge of Russian will improve greatly after I arrive there. I was able to find some more information. I know that my great grandmother, Eudoxia or "Julia," was born in Tvorishuiv, Chernigov on 14 August 1912. My great great grandparents, Timofey Konstantinovich Meleshenko and Anna Petrovna Belishova (?), were married in 1910, but I don't know where or the exact date. All of my family in Russia belonged to the Orthodox church and would have followed all the traditions (babtism, communion, etc). Once again, thank you for all your help! Hopefully, I'll make some family connections soon!

Hello,
I'm moving to Russia for a job next year and would like to meet any family that may still be living there. I'm also interested in learning more about my family's history. My great great grandfather's name was Timofey Konstantinovich Meleshenko. He was born 21 February 1885 in Surazh, Russia. He had 5 brothers and 1 sister. He worked as a guard in Klinsky. My great great grandmother, Anna Petrovna Belish, was born in 1888. She had 4 sisters. According to my great grandmother, Eudoxia "Julie" Meleshenko, her first cousin was a Cossak. If you have any useful information, I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you.
