For some years now, I've been looking for my relatives in Russia, more specifically in Kursk and Lgov region.
Little story : during WW2, my great-grandmother, Tamara Semionovna Molchanova had been taken from Kursk to Germany, there she met a Belgian and followed him.
I have some informations:
My great-grandmother's sisters were : Valentina, Iraida and Ludmila.
Valentina died in 2012 in Canada.
Ludmila died around 1980 (without children).
And Iraida died between 2013 and 2016 in Kursk.
I would like to contact Iraida's family, as they are my last relatives in Russia, I really would like to know them a little bit, and I'm sure they know a lot of things about my family.
So, what do I know ?
As I said, Iraida Semionovna Molchanova died a few years ago, in Kursk.
She has been married to Boris Yakovtchenko.
Iraida is mentioned in this article : http://www.gorodlgov.ru/autor/ledi-elka/6414
"Ираида Семеновна Яковченко (завуч)", she worked as a music teacher in Lgov.
Her children are Valentina Borisovna Yakovtchenko (but her surname probably changed, as she got married...)
And Serguei Borisevitch Yakovtchenko (but he moved to Baltic countries, I have no idea of where he could be now...)
I also know Iraida was living with her daughter, and, I have an old adress : "улица 40 лет Октября, 50" in Lgov. But my family thinks they moved to Kursk as Iraida was getting older.
I have informations about Tamara, Valentina, Ludmila and Iraida's parents, if you think they can help you in any way, I'll be happy to share them with you.
So basically, I'm mostly looking to contact Valentina Borisovna Yakovtchenko, who is around 67 years old, and probably living in the city of Kursk.
Does anybody have any idea or advice to help me to maybe finally contact my family?
Many thanks to everybody!
Have a good day/night !
